Paua Shell with Filled Holes
This is a standard size Paua Shell (NZ Abalone). The natural lime coating on the back is ground off to a fine finish and coated with a clear lacquer, breathing holes have been filled. This process reveals the genuine natural beauty and colour of the shell.
These would pair well with our rustic natural edge board and knife sets as a nice addition to a serving platter.
