Terms and Conditions of Sale

This Terms and Conditions page governs the use of Woodzone’s Online Service (the Service) including shopping and participation in promotions run by Woodzone. You can access this Agreement at any time from the bottom of any page of the site.

By accessing, browsing or placing an order on this website you agree to be bound by the associated terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability (Terms & Conditions).

Woodzone will over time provide content and information which children may find interesting and may wish to access. However, no one under the age of 13 years is allowed to provide any personal information. Minors under the age of 18 years are prohibited from making purchases, including subscriptions, on the Service.

We Reserve the Right to:

  • To make changes to our site and these terms and conditions, product descriptions and prices and such changes will take effect from the time they are published on this site.
  • To cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund the monies paid using the original method received.
  • That all orders are subject to availability of stock
  • Take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are bona fide.

The name that will appear on your statement will be Woodzone
Business Trading Name is MB and VA Vallings trading as Woodzone

When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, credit/debit card, phone and address details. This information is required in order to process your request or inform you of acceptance of our order. You will be asked to register as a member of Woodzone.  Apart from the many member benefits, including receiving regular emails containing information on new product arrivals and promotions, your shopping address details will be filed saving you the effort of entering these details each time you checkout. You can remove yourself from the email list by using the link at the bottom of each email or by contacting us.
After placing an order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched to you.
Should there be an issue with your order, one of our team will contact you either by phone or email.

Products and Purchasing

Price, Currency & GST

All prices on this website are stated in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of the 15% Goods & Services Tax (GST). Orders will be processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). We do not accept payments in other currencies. Woodzone reserves the right to change prices of goods advertised on this website, without notice.
Woodzone does not guarantee the price of any item listed on this website until your order has been processed. Whilst Woodzone takes steps to ensure the price and details of products listed are correct, if they are incorrect, Woodzone reserves the right to cancel the order and refund.

Payment and Security

Products displayed on the site can be purchased using a secure online Mastercard, Visa, transaction facility. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfilment.
Any orders received by Woodzone through this website constitute offers and are subject to acceptance by Woodzone in its absolute discretion. Orders will not be despatched until payment is received in full.

Product Availability

Offers on special product markdowns or sale items are available until stocks sell out. All orders are subject to availability of stock and confirmation of the order price.

Product Details

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that all information on this site is accurate and kept up-to-date.  However, any description of the goods is given by way of identification only. We do not warrant that the description of goods or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. We cannot be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.

Product Pictures

All colours of products are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour and size specifications. Colours may appear slightly different via this website due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings.

Changing or Cancelling an Order

Unfortunately no changes to orders or cancellations may be made after they have been submitted. If you are unhappy with your purchase once you receive it, you may return it to us. See below for further information regarding returns and exchanges.

International Delivery

If you order through our website, we are unable to give freight pricing on delivery of goods internationally at this time. Please contact us for pricing.

Images, text, site design, logos, graphics and any other content and software on this site, including their arrangement, selection and assembly, are the property of Woodzone, unless specified otherwise. You may use this web site only for your personal and non-commercial purposes.

Woodzone and its affiliates shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages allegedly sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access the Service.
This includes viruses alleged to have been obtained from the Service, your use of or reliance on the Service or any of the information or materials available on the Service, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action.

Liability and Guarantees

If you are requiring goods from us for business purposes, then the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to be MCM-136860-1-D1-V2:GT inconsistent with consumers’ rights under that Act. If there is any inconsistency then the Act shall prevail.
To the maximum extent permitted by law we shall not be liable for any loss of profits or any consequential, indirect or special loss, damage or injury of any kind whatsoever suffered by you arising directly or indirectly from any breach of contract or any negligence by us. Our liability for any loss, damage or injury to you shall not in aggregate exceed the contract price of the goods supplied.
Woodzone will not in any case be liable for any lost profit (direct or indirect), deletion or corruption of electronically or digitally stored information or incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of or in connection with this website, the content and the products and services available or accessible on the website.

Governing Law

Shipping Methods and Charges

All deliveries within New Zealand are delivered by Courier direct to your door.  If no one is home, a card will be left requesting that you contact the courier office to arrange a suitable delivery time.  You can enter special delivery instructions when entering your address details. 

Delivery times and prices for all products excluding furniture:

Accuracy of shipping time can not be guaranteed on all orders received after the 12th December.
We endeavour to get your order processed with a day or two of receiving it however with the courier companies being so busy at this time of year we can not guarantee the delivery is as punctual.
Please order your Christmas Gifts early to avoid disappointment.

All customer orders are sent Wednesday – Sunday within 48 hours of you placing your order.

Any specified delivery dates are estimates only and we shall not be liable for failure to deliver on the estimated date.
Woodzone does not accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (eg, strikes and natural disasters) or delays which result from Woodzone not receiving deliveries from third parties on time or as a consequence of an incorrectly filled in delivery address.

Returns

While we hope that you’re always delighted with your order, we understand that there are occasions you may want to return items. If you do wish to return an item you are entitled to exchange, receive a credit or a full refund excluding delivery costs.

Returns Policy

  • Woodzone is more than happy to exchange or refund goods purchased online for up to 14 days of receipt, provided goods are returned to our online store in their original, unused condition with the original packaging and tags.
  • All undamaged correctly returned products will be refunded to the original purchases credit card within 7 days. 
  • We will reimburse postage for damaged, defective or incorrectly sent items only.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a returned product that is damaged by the recipient due to lack of care or disregard of care or washing instructions.

Please make sure you give us a daytime telephone number or your email address so we can contact you.
Once we have received the returned products we will notify you by phone or email of your exchange or refund entitlement.
Goods are returned to Woodzone at your own expense unless the item is faulty. Please ensure all items are packaged securely and are returned to us by registered mail with a tracking number. Please note that Woodzone is not responsible for the damage or loss of items being returned.

Exchanges

You can exchange any goods within 14 days of purchase. If you wish to exchange an item please contact us as soon as possible to reserve another item. If you have decided to exchange for an item with a different dollar value we will credit or debit your card to match the difference. Please do not send us cash or cheques, we only deal with electronic payments.

Refunds

Your refund will be credited back to the original purchases credit card and will exclude delivery costs, unless the item is faulty. Please be aware it may take several days for the refund to show in your account.

Gift Returns

If you have received an item as a gift and you would like to return it, you are entitled to an exchange. If you have decided to exchange for an item with a different dollar value we will credit or debit your card to match the difference. Please do not send us cash or cheques, we only deal with electronic payments.

Faulty Goods/Incorrect Items

Our Woodzone online team takes great care checking all orders to ensure the goods you receive meet our quality standards and that we are sending you exactly what you asked for. However, if you do receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us to arrange a replacement with free delivery.
Faulty or damaged items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
Please be aware that general wear and tear of products does not constitute a refund. Woodzone will where possible replace or repair any goods deemed to be faulty, if purchased within the last 6 months. If we are unable to do this, a credit note or refund will be provided.

Sale Items

We do not accept exchange or refund requests for special product mark downs, samples, sale item or items that are no longer stocked unless the goods are unknowingly defective.
